Jonny Greve
Director

Jonny started off in the building trade from a young age, growing up with both his father and uncle in the trade. He left college with A Levels in Business, I.T and Psychology. Realising his love for the building trade he joined his father on site, this was contracting for several local conservatory companies. This is where he learnt trades such as bricklaying, plastering, window fitting, carpentry and other skills and later gained his bricklaying qualification. Jonny then decided to start Greve and Son in 2010. 

All of his experience means that no job is beyond his skill set. Using the skills and technical knowledge that he has gained through previous job roles.

Gin Barrett
Supervisor

Gin is a qualified shipwright and went to college to gain his qualification. Back in the early 90’s Gin worked for a large double-glazing firm, installing windows, doors and conservatories, up until he left to join Greve and Son in 2012. Being Jonny’s uncle, Gin taught Jonny how to fit windows and doors, sharing his wealth of experience in the double glazing industry. Gin’s role at Greve and Son is supervising the double-glazing division of the business and carpentry work on site.

Shaun Strong
Supervisor

Shaun is a fully qualified ground worker who also went on to gain qualifications in bricklaying and carpentry. He joined Greve and Son in 2015, after returning from working in Australia. Shaun has over 15 years’ experience in the building trade. He is supervisor for the groundwork division as well as bricklayers on site.

Jonny and Shaun grew up together when they were in the same class at primary school and have been good friends ever since.

John Greve
Supervisor

John has a wealth of experience in the building trade. He is an all round general builder, from bricklaying, plastering, carpentry and roofing. Being Jonny’s father, he taught Jonny most of what he knows in the building trade. John started working for Greve and Son in 2020. This was to become a supervisor and make sure jobs run smoothly. We like to class him as ‘old school’. Due to John’s experience, there isn’t much he hasn’t seen on site and doesn’t know.

Sue Coupe
Accounts Manager

Sue has many years of general office experience having previously worked at a local accountants. Being Jonny’s mother-in-law, Sue has helped Jonny since the beginning. She now works full time in the office for Greve and Son. Sue’s roles include raising invoices, dealing with e-mails and generally keeping on top of all associated office duties and most importantly paying the bills.
